Fourteen years of frontline finance leadership have given me a practitioner's lens that most doctoral candidates lack. Managing treasury operations, ESG initiatives, and working capital across a multinational testing group in a developing-market context has surfaced questions that spreadsheets alone cannot answer — questions about climate risk disclosure, AI-driven decision-making, and supply chain resilience that sit squarely at the frontier of finance research.
I am now seeking a doctoral programme that lets me formalise those questions into rigorous research, contributing both to academic knowledge and to practice in emerging markets. My goal is to produce work that is theoretically grounded and immediately applicable to the organisations I have spent my career serving.
